The British Institute of Human Rights (BIHR) have a new project, Human Rights Check UK which is supporting civil society organisations to tell the United Nations about the UK's human rights record at the Universal Periodic Review (UPR) in 2017.

They are running a series of consultation events across England, Scotland and Wales. If you're part of a civil society organisation then you can go along to learn about the UPR process, how you can get involved, and tell them what you think about the government's track record on human rights.
