Have you got a sewing machine in a cupboard at home but don't know how to use it, or haven't used it in a while and would like to refresh your skills? In the second class of Greener Kirkcaldy's 6 week sew and repair programme, sewing instructors Claire and Gabbi will share their expertise on machine sewing.
Bring along your machine and learn how to you use it, try basic stitches and learn how and when to use them, and practise on something to take away. The class is suitable for beginners starting out with machine sewing, or those looking to refresh their skills. Please bring along your sewing machine (if it is in good working order), other tools and equipment will be supplied.
The class will include a section on 'getting to know your machine'. Booking is required as spaces are limited. This is part of a 6 week programme of classes offering you the chance to learn basic skills to sew, repair and upcycle your clothes.
You can book onto a single class or onto the whole 6 week programme. Please visit their events page by: clicking here for details of other classes.
