    Created: 04/05/2016
    News/Events Category: Job Vacancies

    Foodbank Manager
    37 hours
    Salary - £25,000 per annum

Dunfermline Foodbank is offering an exciting and challenging job opportunity to manage and lead a committed group of volunteers as they seek to alleviate hunger, put food on the table, restore dignity and offer hope to local people in crisis in the west of Fife.

Dunfermline Foodbank, established as a Scottish Charity in 2012, has fed over 10,000 men, women and children through its network of five foodbanks and is part of the respected Trussell Trust network of UK foodbanks. Since being established the service has grown in the number of locations that they operate from, in the number of volunteers and in the number of people that they continue to feed. Managing and supporting the activity of the Foodbank requires significant effort, more than can be sustained on a part-time voluntary basis, so they are moving to appoint a full-time Foodbank Manager to take Dunfermline Foodbank forward and meet the challenges ahead.

The working hours are 37 hours per week with a degree of flexibility, covering the open times of our foodbanks, occasional evening presentations and limited weekend work.

A job description and application form are available on the Foodbank website by: clicking here

Closing date for applications are Tuesday 31 May 2016.
