When: 9.30am - 1.00pm, Wednesday 08 June 2016 Where: Fife Voluntary Action, Craig Mitchell House, Flemington Road, Glenrothes, KY7 5QF This event is being organised by Fife Voluntary Action This particular event is free to attend, so no payment is required.
It is too late to book a place for this particular session, sorry about that.
Despite the constant interest in new and better techniques to recruit volunteers, the true challenge in the volunteer field is first having meaningful work for volunteers to do. Without preparation you run the risk of attracting people who do not really meet your needs and therefore are the wrong volunteers for you. And having the wrong volunteers may be worse than having no volunteers at all.
Included in the course:
Motivations for volunteering
Developing opportunities
Methods of recruitment
Recruitment messages
Recruitment strategies
Who should attend:
Anyone who has, or is expecting to have, responsibility for recruiting/managing volunteers in their organisation.
Accreditation/Award:
All participants will receive a certificate of attendance.
It's free! Tell us about your event, news, training, vacancy etc. by completing a short form and we'll add it to our e-bulletins and website - accessed by thousands of people every month.
