When: 2.30-4.30pm, Monday 06 June 2016 Where: New Volunteer House, 16 East Fergus Place, Kirkcaldy, KY1 1XT This event is being organised by Fife Voluntary Action
It is too late to book a place for this particular session, sorry about that.
Would you like you and your organisation to be supported, recognised and rewarded for being good at involving volunteers? Or perhaps you'd like to give your organisation a potential advantage when making funding applications? You'll get this and more from the process and successful outcome of applying for the Volunteer Friendly Award.
For everyone that attends this information session and registers for the award by the end of Volunteers' Week (12 June), will be able to claim a 25% reduction in the registration fee for their organisation. Book this session now! At it's heart, the Award is a simple, user-friendly quality standard designed by Volunteer Centre Dundee to support, recognise and reward groups who are good at involving volunteers.
Given the rich, social value of volunteering, including employabilty and the enhancement of many essential community services provided by volunteering, it has never been more important to be able to show how good you are at involving and managing your volunteers. Volunteer Friendly helps you to take a systematic look at what you do and how you do it. It offers a flexible approach which allows your group to work at its own pace, with full support from FVA.
“When you achieve the Award, you can use the logo on your materials and it will support future funding applications and potentially attract more volunteers. This information session will lead you through the five strands of the award and let you hear from others who have been successful. It will also support you to see what you are already doing that's useful and where and what else you might need to add.”
Remember that your organisation will save 25% on your registration fee if you register for the award by 12 June and have attended this session. Book now!
