Temporary Children's Service Co-ordinator
Salary: £25,500 Pro-rata

The Cottage Family Centre offers support to vulnerable families with children aged between Birth – 7 years living in the Kirkcaldy area. The service provides a programme of group activities supported by a quality children’s service.
They require a highly motivated person with a deep understanding of children’s learning and development. The post will co-ordinate and support the childcare team.
The individual must have the ability to co-ordinate a staff team within a childcare setting and report to the Service Manager. The worker will be responsible for developing a broad range of learning activities which are specific to the needs of vulnerable children.
Qualifications required are: A practice qualification - N.N.E.B. / SVQ 3 Childcare and Early Years Education, HNC Childcare and education or equivalent.
You also must have one of the following qualifications: BA Early Childhood Studies, BA Professional Development (Early Childhood Studies), SQA Professional Development Award Childhood Practice (360 credits at SCQF Level 9), BA Childhood Practice. A certificate in Food Handling and First Aid are also required.
This post will be subject to a PVG Scheme Record check, SSSC registration and 2 references.
You will be expected to work a minimum of 28 hours per week, but also have the flexibility to work hours in addition to this where required.
