When: 12 - 4.00pm, Friday 03 June 2016 Where: Oakley Community Centre, Station Road, Oakley, KY12 9QF This event is being organised by Fife Voluntary Action
It is too late to book a place for this particular session, sorry about that.
Since December last year, people in Fife have generously donated new and used; clothing, toys, books and household items for refugees living in Fife. Fife Voluntary Action in Kirkcaldy were a collection point.
We were inundated! So we have been thinking hard of how the refugees can benefit from the surplus. With significant help from volunteers, whose contribution we are celebrating as part of Volunteers' Week, we have decided to hold a BIG sale. All items will be in good condition (previously used) and will be baby and children's clothes; shoes; books and toys, as well as household items.
Every penny raised will directly benefit refugees in Fife. There will also be free tea, coffee and biscuits as well as a chance to get advice, information and support from local groups such as: Citizen's Advice, Adult Learners, Credit Union, Foodbank, English for Speakers of Other Languages.
Please spread the word and we look forward to seeing you there.
