You will manage the LEADER Programme across rural areas of Fife and be responsible for leading the planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the Programme and for meeting the objectives set out in the LEADER Local Development Strategy.
Fife Council pays the Scottish Local Government Living Wage Rate to employees earning less than £8.33 per hour. If the hourly rate of pay for the post is less than the Scottish Local Government Living Wage Rate a supplement will be paid.
You should be educated to SCQF Level 9 with a degree in a relevant subject such as Community Development or Business Management or be able to evidence having significant experience in a policy development or project management role.
The LEADER Programme aims to enhance the quality of life in rural Fife by making a positive contribution towards creating an inclusive and sustainable local economy. You will be responsible for leading all aspects of programme management and delivery for the LEADER Strategy including programme and project development, engaging with rural communities, preparing and presenting progress reports and managing the overall programme budget of £3.4 million.
