    Female Support Practitioner
    Wakened Night Shift Post
    Ref No: E-NEFF-4SP2016
    Location: Kennoway
Hours: Full-time (39 Hours per week)
    Salary: £15,193
Section 9 (2)(b) of the Employment (Sex Discrimination) Act 2000 applies to this post

The Richmond Fellowship Scotland is a leading voluntary organisation, supporting people with a broad range of needs to live in their own homes, as part of their community. They are an organisation driven by strong values and a firm commitment to choice, dignity and social inclusion. Although they support over 2800 people throughout Scotland, they are committed to delivering services that recognise people as individuals and treat them with dignity and respect; just like we would all want ourselves.

They are currently looking to increase their staff resource in their Glenrothes and North East Fife 2 Service, and are looking for people who can help their supported individuals to achieve their own positive outcomes. They are therefore looking to recruit one full time (39 hours per week) female staff member to join the team.

The post is in a service based in Kennoway where you will be part of a committed team, supporting an individual with complex needs and who has physical and learning disabilities to live in their own home. The individual supported needs full support with all aspects of their life such as paying bills and general household tasks, but it can also involve support with meal preparation, administering medication and personal care. The individual can display challenging behaviour such as verbal outbursts.

This is an excellent opportunity to make a change in your life and in that of the person we support. The work can be challenging, but as well as a competitive salary, enhanced pension contributions and annual leave, childcare vouchers and discounts at over 850 online and high street retailers, we can offer you a rewarding and satisfying role in your local community.

For further information and to apply for this position please visit their website.

The closing date for applications is Monday 06 June and interviews are planned for 14 June 2016. PVG checks will be required of all successful applicants; having a conviction will not necessarily debar you from working in this sector.
