RNIB Scotland Visual Impairment and Learning Disability/Complex Needs Services (VILD) offer unique, personalised, services for people with sight loss.
You need to be fun to be with, have good problem solving skills, patience and enthusiasm. Following the customers' own service design which you will be involved in helping them to create; you will support and encourage development of choice, control and confidence.
Working with VILD you will learn how to identify hidden sight loss. The work is challenging, physically demanding and truly rewarding. You will join VILD's Fife Services teams which are in Kirkcaldy and Crosshill. Your hours will be allocated according to the needs of customers; no night shift is required as customers live at home.
Applicants must be aged 21 or over and hold a full driving licence for two years' or more. They may consider well-qualified applicants who will have held a full driving licence for two years' at completion of probationary period. This is to comply with RNIB insurers requirements.
