Salary: £20,879 - £24,286 pro rata

Home-Start Kirkcaldy seeks a Co-ordinator for 15 hours per week. They are a voluntary organisation committed to promoting the welfare of families with children under the age of 5. Volunteers offer regular support, friendship and practical help to families experiencing difficulties.
The Co-ordinator will hold a caseload of families and will be responsible for assisting in the recruitment, training and supporting of volunteers.
The ideal candidate will have:
Parenting experience and an understanding of the needs of children and families (essential)
A good understanding of child protection and working with vulnerable people (essential)
Relevant work experience (essential)
Experience of managing volunteers and delivering training (desirable)
The ability to work on their own initiative in a challenging environment (essential)
A full driving licence and access to their own transport (essential).
