    Salary: £26,980 - £28,995 (Qualification Bar at £28,058) Per Annum


    An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and committed individual to be part of Kingdom Housing Assocation's Care and Support management team within Falkirk. They provide high quality care and support to adults with learning disabilities, autism, challenging behaviour, physical disabilities and mental health issues in their own homes.

    The successful candidate will:
    • Be responsible for managing a number of 24 hour support services;
    • Be experienced in enabling people to fulfil their potential;
    • Have experience of motivating staff to support individuals to take positive risks;
    • Contribute to the continued growth and development of the services;
    • Develop professional working relationships with families and multi-disciplinary teams;
    • Assist in the recruitment, induction and training of staff;
    • Have a sound knowledge of the National Care Standards;
    • Assist in meeting Care Inspection and SSSC standards;
    • Have a minimum of five years' experience in the Care and Support field;
    • Have a minimum of two years' experience of managing and supervising staff;
    • Have a current driving licence and the use of a car for work purposes;
    • Be competent in the use of software packages (Microsoft office etc).


    Candidates should have relevant experience and qualifications (SVQ 3 or above), recognised by the Scottish Social Services Council in the field of Care and Support, with a commitment to gaining SVQ4/Leadership and Management Award/PDA supervision. Placing on the salary scale will be dependant on whether a candidate has the relevant qualification as determined by the Scottish Social Services Council.

    This post demands flexible working and participation in the 24 hour management on-call system, with an additional payment for each 'on call' worked. In return for the above they offer an attractive benefits package including a contributory pension scheme and 37 days paid annual leave. You will be required to register with the Scottish Social Services Council, and be a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme. The cost of membership (whether a new or existing member) is borne by you. If you are not already a member the cost will be £59, for existing members this will be £18.
