    Fife Cultural Trust is an ambitious charity; our vision is for Fife to be a culturally vibrant and rewarding place to live, work, study and visit.

    Working within the Finance and Administration team you will provide a comprehensive range of finance and administrative support functions and be responsible for administering and processing financial transactions using computer packages. This will include the administration of daily banking arrangements and debtor/creditor invoicing.

    In addition you will provide clerical and administration support to maintain staffing and administration records and systems as required.

    Responsibilities:

    •  to accurately collate, manage and operate financial transaction information using the various information systems within Fife Cultural Trust
    •  to administer, check and prepare on a daily basis, all income for banking and ensure transactions reports and monies banked agree and balance. Ensuring any discrepancies within this process are recorded and  reported  
    •  to ensure bank reconciliation records are accurately produced and discrepancies are resolved
    •  collate and process information in relation to purchase cards across the organisation
    •  provide first point of contact liaison with the Bank; card holders, ledger queries, Loomis collection, etc.
    •  prepare debtor invoicing requests ready for processing;
    •  prepare creditor invoices ready for processing payment;
    •  to ensure that all debtor and creditor records are checked for correctness before being passed for authorisation/payment;
    •  to process petty cash reimbursements, checking for accuracy, ready for authorisation and payment, reporting discrepancies;  To support the Business Manager with the preparation of income and expenditure  accounts;
    •  to assist the Head of Finance and Administration in the preparation of all relevant documentation for auditors and other external bodies;
    •  undertake any other duties and responsibilities as required by the job.

    Requirements
    With a strong background in both finance and administrative roles you will have a high focus on customer service and attention to detail. This will be matched with a responsible attitude and the ability to manage your work load in a fast moving department where accuracy is required at all times. Excellent working knowledge of office packages and finance software would be desirable.
