Delivering Differently launch co-design sessions for pilot fund
Created: 02/05/2018Delivering Differently (DD) envisions a Fife where people with mental health problems can easily access appropriate support as and when they are ready to make the journey (back) into work.
As the title suggests we are aiming to do things a little differently, and in advance of inviting applications for our 6 month pilot fund we will be hosting three Co-Design sessions. The sessions will be a great opportunity to share creative, innovative ideas and to explore potential proposals for the fund.
To do this we are inviting people with lived experience and people with an interest in mental health and employment who want to be part of the way forward. Both parties will be involved in the design, development and delivery of the bids.
The fund offers a great opportunity to test new ways of working or to undertake development work on a new idea.
Details and booking information can be found via the following links:
All sessions will run from 10.00am to 12.30 o'clock:
Monday 14 May, New Volunteer House, 16 East Fergus Place, Kirkcaldy, KY1 1XT
Monday 21 May, Lochgelly Centre, Bank Street, Lochgelly KY5 9RD
Tuesday 22 May, Fife Renewables Innovation Centre, Ajax Way, Leven KY8 3RS
In March we held 10 workshops across Fife which brought front-line practitioners, decision makers and people experiencing mental health issues together to discuss what types of support would assist people towards and into employment. The feedback from the workshops has been collated and will be presented at the co-design sessions.
The Delivering Differently Pilot Fund is looking for bids which will help improve employment pathways for people with mental health problems in Fife and which:
While attendance at the co-design sessions is not mandatory to bid into the fund, it is hoped they will allow people this opportunity to meet these criteria.
If you would like to take part in one of the workshops, please click any of the dates above to go to the booking page for that session.
