It is too late to book a place for this particular session, sorry about that.

Growing your own herbs is relatively easy and offers great results. Adding fresh herbs to your cooking can lift it to the next level - fresh basil on pizza, chopped chives in your potato salad or delicious mint tea. All of these herbs can be grown in pots or in your garden. No kitchen is too small for a pot or two of fresh herbs; even a windowsill has room for basil and coriander. A patio or garden is a great space for a tub of mint, chives, sage, rosemary and oregano. These will last for years and become an important part of your cooking, while looking great and attracting beneficial insects and bees to your garden. Herb expert Margaret Lear will demonstrate how to sow, care for, and use, your culinary herbs and identify which ones can be used to treat minor ailments.

There will be lots of discussion and plenty of time for questions. No experience necessary. Please wear suitable gardening clothing. There is disabled parking on site and the venue is wheelchair accessible.
