It is too late to book a place for this particular session, sorry about that.

Greener Kirkcaldy's summer pruning workshop will introduce you to pruning apple, pear, cherry and plum trees. They'll cover basic techniques and methods to start you pruning with confidence at home. The course is based at their orchard in Ravenscraig Walled Garden and covers some theory about pruning but is largely practical and outside, allowing hands on practice and question time. Summer pruning should take place from the end of July so this workshop gives you the chance to learn some skills before its time to prune your own trees. The workshop will be led by Appletreeman Andrew Lear, an expert on growing fruit in the Scottish climate (and a key influence on the development of their Ravenscraig orchard).

There is disabled parking on site and the venue is wheelchair accessible. Booking is required as spaces are limited.
