The 2011 Age, Home and Community strategy set out a range of initiatives with the collective aim of better supporting older people to live independently at home as they age.

This is a refreshed strategy which builds on the progress we have made so far.

Age, Home and Community – The Next Phase sets out the Scottish Government's approach to housing and older people. Providing the right advice, house and support will allow older people to live the way they choose.

It sets out their vision for the next phase of the strategy and has been developed using what they have learned from the experiences of older people and the insights of organisations who work with them.
