Short Breaks Service Statement Consultation *deadline extended*
Created: 06/09/2018, Updated: 24/09/2018The Carers (Scotland) Act 2016 requires that Fife Health & Social Care Partnership prepares a statement about short breaks for carers by the end of December 2018 and that this should be developed with the involvement of carers and persons who represent them. As an organisation that supports carers Fife Health and Social Care Partnership would like to hear what you think are the priorities for their Short Breaks Service Statement for Carers.
The purpose of the Short Break Services Statement is to provide information to carers and cared-for people so that they can make informed choices about the types of support they might wish to consider. They already know from the consultation early in 2018 that carers consider short breaks from their unpaid carer role as second only in importance to general information and advice to help carers. Before finalising the statement the partnership is keen to ensure carers have the opportunity to share their thoughts about short breaks, what matters most and where you think we should focus their limited resources.
You can take part in this consultation through the following methods:
The consultation deadline has been extended to Friday 28 September 2018.
