    Multi-award-winning dance company balletLORENT is looking for five older people to take part in its latest fairytale show, Rumpelstiltskin.

    You will be part of a cast involving all ages, selected during a free, informal workshop run by balletLORENT dancers.

    Requirements

    • No previous dance or performance experience necessary
    • An experience of wool winding and knitting preferable
    • The ability to walk unaided for approx. 20 feet is necessary

    The workshop will involve:

    • Introduction to the project, including a short film
    • Seated warm up to music
    • Session based on scenes from Rumpelstiltskin, arm-knitting, wool-winding
    • Creating rhythms of movement with wool and raffia in small groups
    • Opportunity to try on costumes and discuss the dates of the project.
