    The aim of the course is to provide participants with a basic understanding of healthy eating, nutrition and health. Please Note: This is not Elementary Food Hygiene.

    Successful completion of this course will provide:

    •    An appreciation of the importance of a healthy diet and its impact on health
    •    An understanding of the Eatwell guide and its key messages
    •    An appreciation of how to put healthy eating into practice.

    This course is suitable for anyone who is interested in food and health, for example those who require some basic knowledge of healthy eating to support them in the workplace. NB: This course is not suitable for anyone with a REHIS Elementary Food and Health certificate.
