Co-production is about ‘doing with, rather than to people’ and is used in work with both individuals and communities. It is becoming increasingly recognised as a way of developing and improving services. Attached below is a policy brief by Mark McGeachie, National Lead for Co-production and Community Capacity Building with the Joint Improvement Team who presented at the last Health and Social Care Forum. This brief will give you more information on what co-production means and the policy context.
