News/Events Category: VolunteeringThe Salvation Army are looking for a Charity Shop Assistant to help with:
- Sorting donations for sale;
- Setting up displays;
- Pricing and labelling;
- Operating the till;
- Assisting customers with queries and providing general help in their charity shop.
Training can be given to volunteers who would like to try this type of work with a view to pursuing a career in retail. They are also interested in help from volunteers who have experience in using cash registers.
Time: Shop is open 9.00am - 5.00pm Monday to Saturday.
