  • Fife Voluntary Action's office in Kirkcaldy is moving!

    Created: 24/06/2015
    News/Events Category: FVA News

From Wednesday 01 July 2015, Fife Voluntary Action's Kirkcaldy Office will be based in New Volunteer House, 16 East Fergus Place, Kirkcaldy, KY1 1XT, just round the corner from our current location. It's the large building that used to be the Social Work office.

This exciting move is the start of the process of opening New Volunteer House - a voluntary sector hub for Kirkcaldy. This joins Cupar and Glenrothes, becoming our third hub in Fife. We have around 20 organisations looking to move in over the next 12-15 months! CARF, Fife Gingerbread and some local Welfare Reform services will all be operating from New Volunteer House from 01 July.

Organisations in the public and third sectors will be able to book meeting rooms from 01 August.

We'll create a new section on our website to report and show progress of this new development.

Also, building and renovation work is taking place at the Greig Institute in Leven for our fourth hub in Fife. It's due to open to the public on 01 September.

Contacting Fife Voluntary Action in Kirkcaldy
Our new phone system, lines and numbers are almost up and running. Our existing phone number (01592 645540) will no longer be operational from Monday 29 June, instead please call us on 08456 006 046.

The staff moving over from our current Kirkcaldy office (Linda Butcher, Janine Stenhouse and Michaela Lumley) will have direct dial numbers that will be available soon. However, when you use 08456 006 046, we will be able to transfer you easily and there is no change to our e-mail addresses. We have additional and new staff joining them in Kirkcaldy, expanding local service provision from volunteer recruitment, management and support through to organisational capacity building, funding support, governance support and much more.
