  • Walk ON at Fife Libraries

    Created: 10/07/2015
    News/Events Category: General News

Walk On brings together walking and reading, allowing participants to take part in a short health walk, and then relax with their fellow walkers over a cup of tea and a chat about books.

Enjoy all the benefits of joining in with fellow walkers on a regular, fortnightly walk, led by trained walk leaders and then combine this with an informal session where the reading group facilitator will introduce to you to a selection of different titles at each session. Sit back, relax and enjoy being read to, discover or rediscover the joys of reading and join in the discussions over a cuppa. You don't need to read any books in advance and everyone is welcome, regardless of reading ability.

Walk ON sessions commence at the beginning of August 2015 and will be taking place in both Leven and Dalgety Bay. Walk ON is absolutely free and all that is required is that you join in with both the walks and the reading group sessions.

If you'd like to be take part please e-mail the Walk ON team [email protected] or call 01592 583204.
