As part of Volunteers' Week, our featured topic is "How to involve volunteers at all levels of your organisation". Volunteer Managers often tell us about the challenges they face trying to get everyone to see volunteers in the organisation as a shared responsibility, rather than the sole charge of one or two people.
In this session we hope to show you successful strategies to encourage colleagues to be more motivated and empowered to become involved. We want to hear your triumphs too! There will be exercises to help you plan how to implement this in your organisation as well as time for informal networking. And of course .... bacon rolls.
If you are coming to our office in Cupar for the first time, details of building accessibility and directions to the venue can be found here. As parking is time limited on street where the office is located, here are some alternative travel suggestions - the train station is less than 5 minutes' walk away from the office and the free council car Park (Fluthers, East Burnside) is less than 10 minutes' walk away. If you would like to share/offer/request a lift to the Forum, we are happy to help co-ordinate this.
Please e-mail: [email protected] your start/end point and contact details and we will send both parties the particulars of any potential matches.
It's free! Tell us about your event, news, training, vacancy etc. by completing a short form and we'll add it to our e-bulletins and website - accessed by thousands of people every month.
