This seminar is aimed at practitioners working across services who would benefit from a basic knowledge of the dynamics, impact and consequences of stalking. It is suitable for practitioners who work with victims/survivors of abuse, vulnerable people or perpetrators and is particularly suitable for new staff, students and as part of induction training.
The aim of this is course is for participants to develop a greater awareness and understanding of the nature of stalking, its impact and consequences.
By the end of the course participants will:
understand what stalking is
have explored and will understand the impact and consequences of stalking
have discussed the law in relation to stalking
know where to seek help and support
The seminar will be facilitated by Lynda Dargie, Learning & Development Officer, FVAWP and Fiona Duncan, Gender Based Violence Nurse Advisor, NHS Fife.
Please note refreshments will not be provided, however, there is a café and vending machines on site where you can purchase tea, coffee, drinks and snacks.
