    You have a moral responsibility to ensure that volunteers are protected from physical, financial and emotional harm arising from volunteering. This course will support your organisation by ensuring you have the tools and the knowledge to ensure you manage risk effectively.

    Included in the course:
    • Duty of care and the law;
    • Your rights and responsibilities;
    • What is risk?
    • Risk identification and management;
    • Risk register
    • Risk assessments;
    • Health and safety policy;
    • Insurance.
    Who should attend
    Anyone who has, or is expecting to have, responsibility for recruiting/managing volunteers in their organisation.

    Accreditation Award
    All participants will receive a certificate of attendance.
