The CashBack for Communities Small Grants Scheme supports local volunteer led groups, who may not previously have had access to external funding, to enhance their programmes for young people and get positive projects off the ground. Grants of up to £2,000 are available.
Funds recovered from criminal activity are used to support positive activities for young people predominantly aged between 10 and 19.
Priority will be given to start up grant applications, and to youth groups applying for the first time.
Applicants must be members of Youth Scotland or one of the other five agencies managing the scheme i.e. Scottish Council - The Scout Association, Girlguiding Scotland, Boys Brigade, The Girls' Brigade in Scotland, Clubs for Young People (Scotland).
The deadline for applications is 01 December 2016.
