Aims
To enable participants to consider the implications of self esteem in the lives of boys and young men. This is a two day course.
Outcomes
On completion of this course, participants will have:
- Examined what is meant by self esteem and emotional resourcefulness;
- Developed an understanding of the inner and outer world of boys and young men;
- Identified practical strategies to support emotional resourcefulness and self esteem; and
- Identified how workers can model positive behaviours and attitudes.
This course would suit all staff working to support boys and young men on a one-to-one or group basis.
