    Aims

    To increase people’s knowledge and understanding of self harm and increase people’s confidence when working with an adult who self harms.

    Outcomes

    Successful completion of this course will provide:

    • An understanding of the definition of self harm and what it includes;
    • An understanding of the theories behind self harm;
    • Used experiential exercises to understand and engage with someone who self harms; and
    • An understanding of ways to help an adult manage their self harm.

    Who should attend?

    Anyone who would like to gain more knowledge of the subject and professionals working with adults who self harm.
