Hours: 22 hours per week (Worked on a flexible/shift rota including some Sunday working)
Contract: 6 – 12 months (Maternity Cover)
Salary: £15,873 per annum, pro rata
Contact Point is a mental health resource in Fife and Edinburgh. The service provides social, emotional and practical support for individuals who have been affected by mental illness or who feel vulnerable or isolated in their day-to-day lives.
Previous experience in a similar setting is desirable although not essential. More importantly, applicants should be outgoing, creative and be able to demonstrate a level of confidence within group or one-to-one settings. The post would suit someone who has excellent social and interpersonal skills, be confident when working with vulnerable adults, demonstrates a ‘can do’ attitude and enjoys the challenge of working within a changing environment.
