  • Fire Risk Awareness Training

    Created: 15/12/2016
    News/Events Category: General News

Fife based Scottish Fire and Rescue Service Community Firefighters are dedicated to improving safety within the home environment.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service would welcome any requests from groups of carers or volunteers for a member of their Community Action Team to provide training to the group on fire risk awareness within the home.

The basis of the training would help carers and volunteers identify potential fire risks within the homes of vulnerable people, the training will also provide a referral pathway to the Community Firefighters to allow them to introduce risk reduction methods to make the individual(s) safer within their home.

The training can take place at your or local venues.

Requests can be made by e-mailing: [email protected]
