  • Life Changes Trust - Young People's Empowerment

    Created: 06/03/2017
    News/Events Category: Funding and Finance

Empowerment Grants are for groups or organisations that are committed to developing young people’s confidence and skills, and want to help them exercise their rights and give them more opportunities to participate in community life.

This could be through projects such as peer research or peer education, volunteering programmes, taking ownership of a community asset, e.g. a local park or young people led workshops.

LCT would like care experienced young people to take the lead in designing projects that interest them, so engaging with young people in this way should be a priority.

Small grants of between £500 and £10,000 will be available.

Completed applications must be received by 5pm on Wednesday 29 March 2017. Further information, including guidance notes, is available from their website.
