FVAWP - Introduction to Domestic Abuse
Created: 07/03/2017This course is aimed at practitioners working across services who would benefit from a basic knowledge of the dynamics, impact and consequences of domestic abuse.
It is suitable for practitioners who work with children, young people, vulnerable people, victims/survivors of abuse and perpetrators and is particularly suitable for new staff, students and as part of induction training.
The aim of this is course is for participants to develop a greater awareness and understanding of the nature of domestic abuse, its impact and consequences.

The seminar will be facilitated by Lynda Dargie, Learning and Development Officer, FVAWP. Refreshments will NOT be provided, however there is a café and vending machines on site where you can purchase tea, coffee, drinks and snacks.
