  • Police issue call for information about Gerry Freedman

    Created: 23/03/2017
    News/Events Category: General News

Detectives have sent a UK-wide alert to all police forces as they investigate Gerry Freedman.

Freedman has been accused of harassing charities, colleges and universities with job applications and threatening them with legal action if they fail to interview him.

Investigators are now urging organisations to report any contact with Freedman to their local police office by calling 101.

Freedman has threatened to report charities to OSCR and many have had to pay thousands of pounds in legal fees to defend themselves.

If you have information it is important that you call 101 so the police can coordinate and corroborate evidence.
