Hours: 37 hours per week
Capability Scotland are looking to recruit support workers to work as part of their team to provide a safe, caring environment for vulnerable adults. You will be required to undertake a key working role and assist the Team Leader to maximise customer outcomes.
The role involves a degree of physical activity which includes pushing wheelchairs and providing physical support to our customers including personal care (intimate care). The role will also involve health related practices including mealtime assistance and administration of medication where required
Key Requirements
- Experience of working in a similar role and environment
- Willingness to undertake any personal development opportunities.
- A care related SVQ Level 3 (or the willingness to gain this qualification in a given timescale).
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative.
- Able and willing to work flexible shifts including weekends, nightshifts and sleepovers
