Hours: 18 hour posts (Weekends)YMCA Supported Homeless Accommodation is looking for experienced case workers to deliver intensive support and a varied programme of health and wellbeing activities within its temporary homeless accommodation within the Glenrothes and surrounding areas.
The days worked will cover Friday, Saturday and Sunday of each week and are a day/ back pattern.
They are looking for passionate and driven individuals who have proven experience of supporting hard to reach client groups and who can engage well with people at all levels.
They are looking to recruit individuals who are enthusiastic and can motivate vulnerable groups to progress and meet their chosen outcomes in creative ways.
They require individuals who have previous Case Management experience, possess excellent report writing skills and whose approach is outcome focused.
You will have experience of preparing individuals to sustain their accommodation by building confidence and self-esteem, increasing independent living skills, promoting activities to increase health and well-being.
You will be an independent self-starter, flexible and driven by a desire to help people to improve their life chances.
YMCA Glenrothes require someone who:
- Is experienced in Case Management, as well as one-to-one work, facilitating group sessions for vulnerable groups.
- Can motivate hard to reach individuals to become involved in their support plans whilst building positive, enabling relationships.
- Has a high degree of organisational, IT and reporting skills as well as inter-personal and communication skills.
- Is motivated and enthusiastic about supporting people to be healthy and happy.
