  • Consultation - Scottish local election manifesto for social enterprise 2017

    Created: 30/03/2017
    News/Events Category: Social Enterprise

    On Thursday 4 May 2017 voters will go to the polls for Scotland's local authority elections.

    Social Enterprise Scotland always consults Scotland's social enterprises on their policies and produces a policy manifesto for each election.

    Read the manifesto by clicking here.

    The final version manifesto will be sent out to all election candidates and political parties, as well as to local authority officers and local and national government bodies - and they will follow this up after the election too.

    Give your feedback/comments/suggestions by e-mailing: [email protected]

    The deadline for feedback is 5.00pm Monday 3 April 2017.

    Important note:

    • The manifesto policies should be broad enough to apply to most or many social enterprises and not be sector specific (e.g. the SFHA produces policies for social housing);
    • The final version manifesto will remain a short, sharp document and easy to read and understand, so please keep any ideas concise; and
    • The manifesto will be an A4 double sided PDF file and we'll encourage everyone to share the final version when published.
