Hours: Part-time, 20 hours per week for 12 weeks

This role is based within Fife Voluntary Action's employability team who build capacity in the third sector, and represent the sector at strategic partnerships; ensuring the third sector is given the opportunities and support to contribute as fully as possible to improving employability outcomes for the people of Fife.The primary responsibilities of this role will include:
• The creation and distribution of a survey to third sector employability providers (primary desk based research);
• Following-up on surveys so all information is received by the deadline;
• Collate data received and identify key findings;
• Assist in the writing and design of the final report; and
• Secondary research on economic and employability related data in Fife.The ideal candidate will have, or be working towards a social sciences degree with a research based element (e.g. Honours dissertation or Masters dissertation). They must be IT literate and be comfortable with the use of Microsoft Word and Excel. The person should be motivated, willing to learn, and able to work as part of a team. They will need an excellent eye for accuracy and detail. Experience of using Survey Monkey is desirable but not essential as training will be provided on this.
