Salary: £24,413 pro rata
Status: 24.5 hours per week. This is a time-limited post to 31 March 2018 in the first instance with the possibility of extension dependent on funding
Location: Fife and Edinburgh
Children’s Parliament is Scotland’s Centre of Excellence for children’s participation and engagement. They are an independent national charity working with children in groups, projects, consultations and events.
They are concerned with empowerment and participation; creating spaces where children learn and work with others to shape their lives and communities.
They are looking for an experienced Project Worker to work directly with looked after children in Fife using creative and participative workshops to bring children’s rights and their aspirations for the future to life.
The post holder will work alongside the Seen + Heard Fife Project Leader and will be supported by the other members of the Children’s Parliament team. The post is based in Fife and in their Edinburgh office and travel will be required to deliver contact work with children in primary schools, staff training and creative arts project work for children aged 9 – 12 years.
