Salary: £17,053 gross per annum (35 hours per week), £14,617 pro rata (30 hours per week)
Express Group are an established mental health charity with a network of self-help groups throughout Fife. The aim of this service is to support people to pursue their chosen vocational, educational, occupational, social and recreational goals within their local communities.There are four elements to the service:
- working with groups of people around a shared activity
- open access drop-ins
- supporting service users in the development of individual support/recovery plans
- mental health promotion and community development work
Job Purpose:
- to support the team in working effectively with individuals who are experiencing mental health and wellbeing problems
- to liaise with care providers in ensuring our service users receive optimum support
- to provide service users with one to one support and assistance in the establishment and management of individual support plans including action plans and reviews
- support service user's (on an individual basis) in the effective use of service and community resources, so as to meet their individual needs, in order to maximise independence and quality of life
- provide emotional and practical support to service users with high support needs
