Would you like to assist vulnerable adults to live an independent life?
A motivated and flexible approach to work (which will include lone working, shifts, split shifts, sleep in duties and where necessary waking night cover);
You will need the ability to work with people in a positive and supportive manner and a willingness to gain a relevant SVQ II qualification is essential.
If you have previous experience of working with vulnerable adults, this would be desirable. You will be part of a staff team providing support and care to service users in accordance with our aims, objectives, ethos and mission statement. You will play a key role in promoting social inclusion, maximising independence and choice for our service users.
They are looking for individuals who are interested and committed to assisting vulnerable adults live an independent life. These services involve shift work including sleepovers and waking nights in some services and they would require you to be flexible with your working hours. They will provide you with training in CALM theory and physical intervention techniques where this is a requirement. A current full UK driving licence and the use of a car for work are essential.
