Salary: (£8.50 per hour) £15,470 (35 hours per week) gross per annum, £8,840 pro rata (20 hours per week)

Express Group are an established Mental Health Charity and a Company Limited by Guarantee with a network of self-help groups throughout Fife. The aim of this service is to support people to pursue their chosen vocational, educational, occupational, social and recreational goals within their local communities.
There are four elements to the Service:
- Working with groups of people around a shared activity;
- Open access drop-ins;
- Supporting service users in the development of individual support/recovery plans;
- Mental health promotion and community development work.
Job Purpose:
- To support the team in working effectively with individuals who are currently experiencing mental health and wellbeing difficulties;
- To co-ordinate and manage day support groups;
- In consultation with the Manager be responsible for the management of groups in the absence of other coordinators as required;
- To co-ordinate, manage, monitor and review the development of the groups in order to make them interesting and relevant to the people who attend;
- Ensure the efficient use of resources in order to operate effectively on a day to day basis and highlight potential problems to the line manager.
Experience of working with people who experiencing mental health and wellbeing difficulties is essential.
An SVQ2 Health and Social Care or equivalent or willing to work towards achieving this in a reasonable time is desirable.
Appointments will be subject to successful applicants either currently being or becoming members of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG Scheme).
