A vacancy for a Personal Assistant has arose to join a small dedicated team who support a lovely young man who lives in his family home in Kirkcaldy.
This young man has a full and interesting week doing things that he enjoys which include swimming, music and drama. He loves music and will always be happy to astound people with his knowledge and talent for naming songs and artists. He loves being out and about and to take beach walks after his classes and daily activities. It is important to this young man and his family that he has a full structured week and the person who supports him is able to offer support at a pace that suits him, this will keep him safe and allow him to grow and develop new skills and be included in his community.
Applicants must have, or be willing to work towards a qualification meeting the standards required for registration with the Scottish Social Services Council. In return you will have the satisfaction of working for an organisation at the cutting edge of designing individualised support arrangements that make a real difference to people's lives. You will receive excellent training on full pay and you will be eligible to apply for our fully funded SVQ and other benefits, such as a contributory pension scheme, childcare voucher scheme and Hospital Saturday Fund.
