Fife & Perth Supported Living Services is a housing support/care at home service that support people with varying disabilities and medical conditions.
They are currently looking to recruit a Team Leader to support the service manager in the day to day running of the service. You will be required to co-ordinate and supervise a team of front line staff to ensure a high standard of social care practice and a person-centred approach prevails throughout the service.
You will also deliver direct support to their customers. You will be required to hold regular supervision sessions, and coach, mentor and develop front line staff on an on-going basis. You will also be expected to support staff to achieve their SVQs by assessment.
The role will also involve health related practices including mealtime assistance and administration of medication as and when required. The role will involve a degree of physical activity which includes pushing wheelchairs and providing physical support to their customers.
You must be able and willing to work flexible shifts which include weekends, evenings, nightshifts including sleepovers and being on call.
