Places for voluntary sector delegates (staff, committee members or volunteers) £175.00 per person
Places for non-voluntary sector delegates are £175.00 per person
It is too late to book a place for this particular session, sorry about that.This is a two day course taking place on the 09 and 16 August 2017.
Course participants will:
- Gain an understanding of how bereavement and loss affects people with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD);
- Gain an understanding of how bereavement and loss affects family carers who have cared for a person with PMLD;
- Feel more confident in working with people who have experienced bereavement and loss;
- Have more knowledge of the theories of bereavement and loss;
- Develop practical skills to work with people who have experienced bereavement and loss.
The course is highly participative and will have a mix of tutor input and experiential learning. It will also have opportunities for participants to be involved in reflective practice that can be used for CPD purposes - i.e. SVQ, HNC, PRTL, CLPLO and post-grad (12 hours CPD time). Course evaluation will be undertaken with the use of pre and post-course questionnaires.
The cost for this two day course is £175 which includes the award-winning Bereavement and Loss Pack.
