    What's new in Adult Protection?

From September 2016 – January 2017 the Adult Support and Protection Committee (ASPC) ran two surveys; one on general adult protection information, and another on accessible information. The Committee have looked at the survey results and agreed an action plan which will help determine future work.  To find out more visit:  www.fifedirect.org.uk/adultprotection and visit the ‘Adult Support & Protection Committee’ webpage.

Listen to the Adult Protection stories

Last year the ASPC raised awareness of what harm is and how to report it, through a Kingdom Action Campaign on local radio. They used five short stories to describe different harmful situations including the most common forms of harm: neglect, mate crime, financial harm, physical harm and financial abuse from scams. Each story is a minute long and voiced by local people. They’re now available on the webpage: www.fifedirect.org.uk/adultprotection.  Click on the ‘Listen to our Adult Protection stories’ header.
