Hours: 30 per week posts
Salary: £17,137 (Unqualified), £17,573 (Qualified) pro rata
Kingdom Support and Care are recruiting for support workers in the Falkirk and Slamannan Area. They provide a 24 hour service to supported individuals with autism and challenging behaviour. They are looking for people with a positive person-centred approach who are passionate about helping people have a fulfilling life.
This post will require someone who is able to support people to develop new skills and attend activities they enjoy doing. Examples include walking, swimming, going to the cinema, bowling and gardening. These services will require you to be trained in CALM theory and physical intervention techniques, if you have not had any training this will be provided to you. These services involve shift work including sleepovers, waking night and would require you to be flexible with your working hours.
You need be registered as a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme for the purpose of regulated work with protected adults.
