Hours: 25 per week, Monday to Friday 9.15am-4.00pm
Salary: £5.60 - £7.50 per hour depending on ageThis post is funded via Community Jobs Scotland.
Job Description:
Working with volunteers, supporting and encouraging activity, team working and personal growth. Basic office and administrative procedures. Basic shop and stock activities. Basic activity support - for example, Digital Media and Funding Research. Undertake training and development to progress skill and experience. Promote CLEAR Buckhaven and their work in a positive and dynamic way.
Any other appropriate duty as required from time to time.
Person Specification:
Essential:- ability to work with others and to work unsupervised;
- active interest in community based development;
- ability to manage time and prioritise work activities;
- basic knowledge of administrative practices;
- willingness to develop skill and knowledge around office procedures and funding;
- good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to take initiative within the limits of the project or activities;
- a clear commitment to equality, diversity and fairness.
Desired:
- ability to supervise a small group of office based adults;
- good knowledge of funding sources;
- be a member of the PVG Scheme (Protection of Vulnerable Groups).
