The Coalfields Regeneration Trust - Training and Employability Coordinator
Created: 21/08/2017, Updated: 23/08/2017Post: Training and Employability Coordinator
Hours: 37 per week
Salary: £27,000
The Coalfields Regeneration Trust (CRT) are looking for a dynamic and focussed individual, who has the experience and drive to assist CRT in Scotland to identify, target and participate in a key number of local and national strategic projects, programmes and initiatives. The post holder will play a key role in developing and delivering their training and employability programmes from their new Enterprise and Training Hub in Kincardine. This is an interesting and varied role and involves liaising and working with a range of agencies (voluntary and statutory).
The post holder will be familiar with the main partners across central Scotland and have a track record of working with people to help remove barriers and support progression into employment, education and training. The Coalfields Regeneration Trust is Britain's leading regeneration agency dedicated to Coalfield Communities. Since 1999, they have awarded over £100 million in grants. However, they are far more than a grant maker and they are increasingly taking a pro-active approach to developing and investing in strategic programmes to address regeneration issues.
The Coalfields Enterprise and Training Hub will be a state of the art facility promoting an enterprising communities culture across the coalfields communities in Scotland, with a key priority of stimulating the local community following the closure of the Longannet Power Station. The Hub will offer community activists, aspiring individuals and enterprising organisations access to a unique facility which encourages collaboration, networking, specialist training, support and business growth as well as access to the services of CRT and their partners.
